At Continental Cement, giving back to our communities is a big priority, and it always makes us proud when the teams at our different locations exude our core values. The past few months have been buzzing with events that help to improve our neighborhoods around the country.

At the height of Spring this year, the St. Louis Terminal held their second annual River Clean-Up on May 24. More than 25 employees from that location, as well as the Chesterfield office and the Hannibal Plant, participated in the event.

Joining in on the festivities, the team at our new Memphis Terminal held their first-ever clean-up in June. Terminal employees and sales and area logistics managers gathered to collect trash, construction debris and abandoned bicycles.

Combined, these locations collected a whopping 6,000 pounds of garbage.

In Minneapolis, Continental Cement was a key sponsor at the MPS Earth Day Clean-Up in May. The team collected roughly 200 pounds of trash near our Minneapolis Terminal in and around Webber Park.
