Storage Dome at the Saint Louis Terminal
Continental Cement recently broke ground on a 40,000 ton Storage Dome that will be constructed at its St. Louis Distribution Terminal. This project compliments the additional production capacity being added in Hannibal, and will allow the Company to better serve its customers in the metro St. Louis area.
Construction of the Dome will be complete in December, 2008. In early 2009, the facility’s unloading dock will be relocated to make room for the new Mississippi River Bridge that is going to be constructed just south of the St. Louis Terminal. At that time, an upgraded pneumatic unloading system will also be installed.
